Synthetic resin-based one-component liquid waterproofing in water emulsion resistant to pooling and UV rays

Acryroof Plus is a one-component liquid membrane in water emulsion. The special formulation of Acryroof Plus makes the product resistant to pooling; the product may therefore be used for waterproofing flat roofs, terraces, balconies and to resurface old bitumen membranes (after applying Acrybase S primer) etc. The product also contains a special additive which prevents the formation of surface microvegetation caused by persistent moisture or when the decks treated are in a shaded area with poor sunlight. After curing, Acryroof Plus becomes a seamless waterproof membrane with elastic behaviour that adapts to micro-settlement caused by thermal stress of the deck. If conditions of strong mechanical stress are present, a reinforcement should be used (Acryfelt mesh, Acrymat 225 or Acrynet 75 depending on the type of deck - please contact the Technical Assistance Department of Casali’s Synthetic Division) and soaked thoroughly with the liquid product. When treating perimeter and expansion joints, connection areas between different materials or construction joints, we strongly recommend the use of Casaband SA or Acryfelt Band (elastic reinforcement bands). Thanks to its excellent resistance to ageing and ultraviolet rays, Acryroof Plus does not require any other protection. The finished deck is step-steady and safe to walk on when carrying out routine maintenance works. The product may not be used to paint swimming pools and/or drinking water tanks. Acryroof Plus can be used also for anticarbonation protection of concrete, external faced and general cementitious surfaces
