Controlled granulometry filler used in combination with many types of resin

Quartz Sand has many usages with most of Casali’s liquid products. The available granulometry are 4: - Ventilated quartz (70 micron) - 0.04 – 0.2 mm - 0.1 – 0.3 mm - 0.3 – 0.9 mm (spherical) - 0,1 – 1,7 mm (Quarzo MIX-3, spherical) The usage of the granulometry depends on the surface final effect to reach, for example using granulometry 0.04 – 0.2 mm with the polyurethanic paint is possible to obtain a final surface with antiskid properties. The larger granulometry are used to realize smoother, for levelling cement bases, in combination with Epobase or Epobase FU 14; they’re sprinkable refusal on Polyroof (two component self levelling polyurethane waterproofing liquid) to obtain a drive-over surface. Those are used also to realize synthetic screeds (for this type of solutions contact the Casali’s Technical Department). The ventilated quartz is used with Epocon 312 Tixo in the last coat to make better smoothings, god to receive the next treatment and give more thickness to the product.
